Summary:
The Production Assistant is responsible for collecting all products from the end of the production line and packing the products per customer or job requirements.
We have 1st shift (Monday-Friday; 6:
00am-2:
00pm) and 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday 1:
45pm-11:
45pm) shifts available.
This a temporary summer position.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Takes direction from the machine operators and/or production supervisor and completes assignments in a timely manner to ensure job requirements are met Collecting products from production line; packing jobs according to specifications; establishes counts, validates quantities, and product orientation The Production Assistant Performs systematic checks of product to ensure requirements are met, identifies quality issues and alerts the machine operators Maintains general appearance of surrounding press; picking up waste, wiping spills and cleaning machines Other duties as assigned Requirements:
General mathematical skills Must be at least 16 years old Ability to differentiate colors in order to distinguish printing errors Must be reliable, dependable and punctual Communicates clearly with others and works as a team member High level of attention to detail and task orientated Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to push, lift and pull up to 30 lbs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
