Manufacturing Position
Summary:
To manage the flow, accuracy and timely logistics of material from the point of receiving purchased material to the point of shipping a finished product.
Perform a variety of duties to identify, receive, record, count and distribute goods/materials from and to various internal and external sources.
Responsibilities:
Cycle Counts of Inventory and Raw Materials Inventory Accuracy Kitting material for shop orders and dispensing to the manufacturing floor Handle and transport fragile items and ensure every item is placed in the appropriate location Receive incoming material into locations and IQMS warehouse management system Personally responsible for the accurate transactions of materials in the IQMS system Operating a forklift or pallet jack to move pallets Pull finished goods items for shipping Provide back-up support for others and for assigned areas Investigate variances and report material discrepancies Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Basic math and computer skills Ability to lift up 25 - 50 lbs.
on a regular basis Ability to occasionally team lift up to 70 lbs.
Organizational skills Accuracy in all activities Work with minimal guidance on daily tasks Must read and verify detailed instructions and work order Bill of Materials and must be precise with recording information such as item and lot numbers, quantities, PO information Willingness to provide support for other areas as necessary Work within multi-tasking and dynamic environment with customer delivery pressure Keep work areas clean and organized Strong time management skills; must be able to prioritize between multiple tasks, and plan work to accomplish all assignments Experience with barcoded inventory system a plus Monday - Friday 7:
30am - 4:
00pm 40 hours per week.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
