Summary: The Senior Web Developer is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of several ecommerce websites and internal web based productivity tools.
Essential Functions:

Maintain existing software
Convert existing legacy classic ASP applications to C# .NET
Use web services to integrate applications with company ERP and CRM system
Participate in requirements gathering for new applications
Design new applications using Object Orientated Patterns
Lead unit and system testing of applications
Maintain development and testing environments
Manage source code and versions for all web applications
Create and maintain databases used for applications
Maintain IIS environments used for testing and development
Be able to manage and support multiple projects at a time
Support business strategic objectives
All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills/Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing/coding C# web application
4 year degree in computer science or related field
Experience with developing against Microsoft SQL databases
Application security and best practices
Visual Studio experience - VS 2013 preferred
Relational database design experience
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Experience with Classic ASP, VBScript
Experience with Javascript and KnockoutJS, or similar frameworks
Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Experience with XML and SOAP Web Services
Experience with RESTful API (WebAPI)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft IIS web servers
Experience using CSS and DOM in website design
Experience in load and performance testing applications
Experience with creating ecommerce web applications
Experience programming in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 ERP is a plus
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts is a plus
Experience in optimizing SQL queries and database performance is a plus
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
