Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with operations to deliver a successful product.
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan
Product plan and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with manufacturing, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
Ensure the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals
Work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy and help them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers
Specify market requirements for the current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and potential customers
Understand the market and find innovative solutions for the broader market
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Increase profitability of existing products by focusing on cost reduction
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Assure product quality before the product goes out on the market
Communicate with the Operations Department on forecasting to ensure adequate supply
Study all the details of the company's product from packaging to consuming in order to assure the customers receive quality and safe products
Deliver MRD's and PRD's with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Run pilot programs with early stage products and samples
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Develop sales tools and collateral. Provided internal and external sales training.

Skills/Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree required
3+ years of product management experience - not services
3+ years proven project management skills
International product development experience a plus
Travel up to 25%, including international travel 1 to 2 times per year
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to stay focused on projects until completion
Excellent teamwork skills - working in a collaborative manner with Marketing, Sales and Graphics
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
